Glass sliding doors have been installed onto the first and second floor of the home. On the ground floor, these doors create the perfect indoor-outdoor living experience helping to merge the living spaces with the garden. This is perfect for the family as they are able to create ideal outdoor living areas, perfect for summer.

Glass sliding doors have also been installed on the second floor of the home and glass balustrades have been placed in front of these doors. The addition of the glass balustrades creates a Juliet balcony as well as providing safety to the homeowners when they open these doors for ventilation.

Aluminium casement windows have been installed onto this home, helping to create an impressive amount of thermal insulation due to the thermally broken aluminium frames. These slim framed windows also help to maximise the natural light intake into the property, especially into the hallway where light is obstructed due to the large front door.

The aluminium framings used on the windows and doors in this project have all been powder coated black, helping to create a contemporary design as well as to match each other perfectly. The slim framed sliding glass doors, aluminium casement windows, glass box extension and Juliet balconies modernise this traditional looking brick home.
