Compayne Gardens saw the installation of a corner opening minimal windows® sliding doors system to a modern extension to this 4-storey London terrace.
The rear extension creates an ingress of natural light that filters down onto two-floor levels as well as providing a light and airy kitchen and dining space.

The minimal windows® sliding doors create a luxurious indoor space which gives the owners the feeling that they are outdoors even when they are inside – especially when the sliding doors are fully opened.
Due to the corner opening configuration, the cantilevered roof and the concrete flooring that flows from the new internal space to the garden patio, this modern space oozes that well sought-after indoor-outdoor living aesthetic.
The extension is connected to the house via two-floor levels, the ground floor level has a small set of steps leading down into the new kitchen while another staircase leads down to the basement rooms.
Large openings were created for the entrance to each floor level which allows the light to seep through into the rooms within the existing terrace building.
The architectural glazing to the extension was finished in a dark grey PPC (Polyester Powder Coating) to all the aluminium elements, with the interiors finished with a pristine white interior.
This design was a strong contrast between the original warm-toned brickwork on the row of terrace homes which created a contemporary design feature to this property.
