The sliding glass doors have a slim 21mm framing profile so allowed a large amount of natural light to enter the new extension space from the rear. The glass doors open at the centre, opening out onto the external decking and small rear garden.
The sliding doors meet at each corner with a frameless glass to glass meeting connection and return towards the house to allow access to the garden from those faces.
In the roof of the extension is a frameless structural glass rooflight. The long rooflight comprises of multiple frames panels connected together with a slim silicone joint.
On the external decking, two separate installations of frameless balustrades surround the void to a below basement courtyard. These glass balustrades allow light to enter this small basement space whilst maintaining safety to these tall drops.
Internally a frameless glass balustrade lines the contemporary timber staircase design, artfully lit with an LED lighting design.
Elsewhere various aluminium casement windows continue the contemporary appearance with square framing profiles and grey powder coated frames.
