IQ Glass undertook a series of works at Blenheim Palace which included the renovation of the East Courtyard with frameless glazing and the extensions at the North Lodge.

The North Lodge is a private home on the Blenheim Palace estate which merges the new with the old to create a unique seven-bedroom country house which is now available to rent through Luxury Cotswold Rentals.

The large country house sits in large grounds, surrounding by the heated salt water swimming pool, hot tub, games room, all weather tennis court, fire pit, golf driving range and basketball court.

Bespoke glazing from IQ can be seen throughout the property including the large format sliding doors to the games room, living and dining areas. These slim framed glass door offer a year round connection to the patio and outdoor pool areas, with floor to ceiling glass and a slim silver metal frame.

To match these large sliding glass doors, frameless windows are located throughout the building to capture specific views that are too impressive to interrupt with any frame – no matter how slim. These ‘picture’ windows create an immediate impact with no frame and invisible connections to the building.

These are further paired with sliding pocket windows which combine the frameless nature of the ‘picture’ windows with the openable design of the sliding doors.
