The Watermill

Industrial Style Mondrian Internal Sliding Doors

Mondrian internal doors are often used within more traditional homes or to create a stunning Art Deco interior.

Two sets of these doors were installed within the Watermill home in Harefield. The Watermill was part of a residential development which included stylish apartments and contemporary townhouses on the Grand Union Canal.

When you enter the apartment you are met with an incredibly designed kitchen diner and living space, beyond this, is the first set of internal glass doors, allowing the homeowners to see into the corridor where their home office sits.

These doors have been designed with super slim glazing bars to follow the more industrial style interior whilst allowing natural light ingress into the space and views of the other areas within the home.

Installing two sets of Mondrian internal sliding doors enables the homeowners to use their home office with privacy whilst benefiting from the natural light intake and views of their beautiful home.

Using internal sliding doors instead of a bifold or hinged door maximises the space in the walkway with a smooth opening.

When the doors are left open each living space seamlessly merges together which is enhanced by the use of the flooring throughout the home.

When closed, the doors create a stunning barred Art Deco design allowing the sunlight to pass through into each space throughout the day. These doors also provide a uniform design to the interior whether they are left open or closed.
