Rhodes House Glass Box Featured in AJ Online

Written by Taylor Hall-Jones

The bespoke glass box has been featured, showcasing how to combine glazing with listed buildings.

Rhodes House is an ultra modern glass box project that is based within the Oxford conservation area.

IQ Glass designed and installed our Invisio structural glazing to build the frame of the glass box. We then installed automated sliding glass doors for easy entrance into the new space.

The box was specified in order to provide an ultra unique space for meetings and presentations just after the council narrowly approved the planning permission.

“Its world-class facilities provide an ideal place for gathering, learning, collaborating and sharing, and will offer improved accessibility for all as we open our doors to new local and global audiences. The historic building is given a new life through this project.”
Elizabeth Kiss, warden, Rhodes House and chief executive, The Rhodes Trust
