Our flagship showroom marks its 10th anniversary

Its's only when you look back that you can see just how far you've come..

 

On the 14th February 2014, the small IQ team packed up their belongings at the Watford offices and moved to Sky House, Amersham.

The old warehouses were completely diliapidated and significantly larger in size, that the team were not certain as to what they could do with the space.  The scale of the work required to transform these neglected warehouses was daunting, but our inhouse technical team set to work on some ambitious plans, renovating the entire site, providing the modern offices and showroom you see today.

Company Director, Michal Piekarewicz, shares the journey from the beginning when the premises were bought in 2011.

 

Sky House 10th Anniversary event Thursday 15th February

To mark 10 years at Sky House, we will be pulling out all the stops to create a memorable event where we can celebrate and host a fantastic networking event dedicated to everyone working in the built environment.

Our highly anticipated event will kick off at 1pm with compelling keynote talks from industry-leading professionals including Melanie Clear, Clear Architects, Fabian Hecker, ZHA & Professor Derek Clements-Croome.

All members of Sky House will be participating in the celebrations, including the launch of Avino’s new Atelier timber showroom, active showroom demonstrations & product tours, professional chefs, entertainment plus more!
